I launched ResuMAYDAY in 2001 after spending a few years as a recruiter. To place a candidate, I would often rewrite their resume before sending it on to an employer. I quickly realized the resume work was my favorite part of the job and decided it was time to do it professionally.
Fast forward to today, I am a trusted confidant and coach to executives, managers, and support professionals at hundreds of organizations across the country. My clients come from every industry and are ready to go after what they want in their career. I work with people who refuse to take a passive role in their career advancement and are ready to reach previously insurmountable goals. If this is you, then I want to work with you!
I'm a rule breaker when the rules need to be broken. Many people (including some professional resume writers) still follow antiquated resume 'rules' that no longer work for today's digital job search, and exposes the candidate to discriminatory practices. By breaking these rules, my clients submit resumes that yield better results with recruiters, employers, and keyword scanners.
I happen to love keyword scanners, and I can get you there, too. When a candidate understands how keyword scanners work (aka ATS, Applicant Tracking Software, Resume Robots, etc...) they gain a big advantage over other candidates. I teach classes on this stuff, and have created an incomparable and differentiating method to get better results from candidate-accessible keywords scanners. When it comes to employers vs. candidates, I am all about giving the candidate an edge, because finding a great job is EVERYTHING.
My goal, every time is to create the BEST resume you've EARNED.
Resumes, and LinkedIn, and Salary Negotiations, oh my! Over the years, I've shared job search advice with countless media outlets and delivered thousands of presentations, workshops, and classes. I am a leader and mentor in educational groups for career experts and am confident there isn't a job or industry for which I haven't written a resume. I constantly educate myself on the tools and methods that employers utilize in their recruiting processes. I'm confident there isn't anything I don't know about getting a job in today's employment market. If you're ready to have all my expertise in your corner, get in touch with me today!

One last note: The image of the little parachute guy is the first ResuMAYDAY logo that a good friend designed for me back in 2001. It no longer fits the company brand, but it has certainly served me well over the years. I didn't have the heart to delete it entirely.
