We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for our North American Corporate Accounting Department. This position reports to the Senior Accountant and is based from our Warrenville, IL office. The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department with fixed asset subledger maintenance, month-end close, creating and posting journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis and other special projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain fixed asset subledger for large volume of capital expenditure transactions

Reconcile fixed asset subledger to general ledger in time for month-end close

Prepare detail analysis of vehicle fleet and other fixed asset categories

Coordinate and maintain vehicle lease payments and capital lease amortization schedules

Support month-end accounting processes including creating and posting recurring journal entries

Maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Effectively interface with multiple areas of the organization to gather critical financial data

SupBalance intercompany accounts among multiple business units as well as parent company

PartParticipate in and lead special projects

SupVarious month end responsibilities

Requirements Include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Experience with major ERP, Oracle preferred

Experience with multiple aspects of accounting including fixed assets and payroll

Advanced Excel skills a must

Ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently
