DIRECTOR/VP OF FINANCE
The Director/VP will report directly to the CEO. As a key member of the executive management team, this person will provide financial leadership for the Company and have responsibility for the design and execution of financial operations including accounting, financial planning and reporting, long-range goals, business and operational strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and report business/financial trends, risks/opportunities and navigate each situation to achieve growth in revenue/profitability. Prepare all necessary financial reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management, investors and board of directors. Assist management with the development of performance metrics and analysis. Pricing, margin and growth analysis. Prepare annual corporate budget and provide department heads with a monthly variance analysis between budget and actual results. Build models to analyze gross margins, current and new product development and other facets of corporate strategy. Coordinate and participate in monthly senior manager meetings, quarterly strategy meetings, quarterly board of directors meetings and annual shareholder meetings. Structure and lead quantitative analyses and financial modeling of growth opportunities, including acquisitions and joint ventures. Provide management oversight of accounting employees including process improvement, staff development, personnel decisions and the maintenance of appropriate internal control safeguards. Manage existing financial, banking and vendor relationships. Identify and execute efficiency, profitability and operations improvement. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Energy! Excitement! Initiative! – Opportunity to join a high growth company. Strategic – The candidate will be experienced at setting direction and translating broad strategies into clear business objectives and actions.
