A growing manufacturer in near west suburb is  seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Web Marketing Specialist.  This role is ideal for those with both creative and technical skills.  New grads welcome!

Responsibilities

  • Create, measure, analyze, and optimize internet marketing programs.
  • Manage all website content working with internal partners and external agencies to achieve sales growth and a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, Product Managers, and Sales Team to create and execute a highly effective web presence including on-line marketing programs, email campaigns, blogs, on-line advertising, SEO, and more.
  • Provide competitive analysis and trend reporting information.
  • Manage Google Ad words campaign including keyword analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • Good knowledge of HTML, PHP, and Javascript.
  • Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
  • Understanding of on-line marketing and familiarity with SEO strategies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and accurate implementation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, provide prompt follow up, and assume ownership to meet goals and objectives.

Paladin is in search of a Full-Time Freelance Marketing Communications Specialist to work at a high-profile and well-respected Chicagoland organization. Candidates with a background in developing community-based educational events are preferred, but this experience is not required.

Location:         Oak Brook

Hours:              8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Duration:          November 2010 – April 2011, 6 month assignment

Rate:                $25-$29/hour, commensurate with experience

The right candidate will have 6+ years of marketing communications experience – ideally in a highly regulated corporate environment. Must the ability to develop strategic marketing programs as well as have strong writing and project management skills. Candidate also must have experience working cross functionally to gain approvals and insights on corporate marketing initiatives.

Candidates who have experience developing marketing programs that include community based events are preferred.

Responsibilities:

-          Develop and execute marketing tactics and strategies for programs and initiatives. Coordinate delivery and communication of programs across functional organizations, including communication, customer service, regulatory and legal.  Deliver product and program support to customer facing organizations.

-          Facilitate the development of content and marketing materials. Manage and research the content production of others; review and edit content; circulate content for approval; submit final content and creative for publishing; coordinate external contractor production activities.

-          Conduct marketing research and define customer segmentation to effectively deliver marketing strategies.

-          Respond to special requests related to unique marketing initiatives and serve as on-site subject matter expert at community based outreach events (after hour commitments required).

Title: Sales Representative

Based in: Chicago

Reports to: Director of Business Development, New York

Job Purpose: To plan and carry out sales activities, so as to develop and maintain sales of Intelligent Proof’s pre- and post- buy out of home media services to marketers, media agencies, and media suppliers in accordance with agreed business strategies.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Identify sales channels and maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.

2. Develop ideas, strategies, and create offers for selling to major accounts.

3. Utilize electronic means, telephone, and personal visits, including travel, to build and nurture client relationships.

4. Initiate defined sales processes and follow through to close.

5. Negotiate contract terms and follow defined operational procedures.

6. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with project administrator.

7. Monitor and participate in project delivery and interpretation.

8. Provide customers with basic system training such as login and dashboard navigation.

9. Gather and report on customer feedback and suggest improvements to client experience.

10. Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

11. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.

12. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Scope: Intelligent proof has several pre- and post- buy media products aimed at providing users of out of home media with business intelligence that enables them to identify media performance issues and improve future decision making. Prospects are marketers at US companies who use out of home or might use out of home media as a marketing strategy, agencies who plan and purchase out of home media, and vendors who supply out of home media space. Services include checking or auditing of advertising sites to confirm placement, photography services, evaluation of advertising sites and surrounding environment, geographic and demographic market research, and in-depth analyses of media performance. Results are delivered via interactive online dashboards. Services may be contracted on a project-by-project basis or on a retainer basis on behalf of a company’s portfolio. Fees are based on the number of site visits required to evaluate campaign performance and begin at $30/visit for the most basic service. Add-ons include: data access, licensing, marketing intelligence, and custom analytics.
