I’m looking for your help in finding the “right” someone to bring into
our family owned boutique wine shop as a manager. This person will
begin as an Associate Manager (see description below) with the goal of
managing the operation when qualifying expectations are met. This
person should be an excellent communicator, have a desire to lead and be
excited about booking, managing and executing events.

The Associate Store Manager (ASM) responsibilities include, but may not
be limited to, carrying out the day-to-day activities required for the
retail operation; taking direction from the Owner; accountability for
administering policies; delivering services and executing transactions
as a delegate of the Owner. ASM performance will be measured by
performance against goals established no less than quarterly.

Duties of the ASM include, but may not be limited to, providing a
“Four Seasons” customer experience; achieving sales quota;
purchasing inventory; scheduling staff; ensuring store practices are
consistent with company policies, company goals and applicable state and
federal laws; reporting daily transactions, inventory levels and other
administrative work; and other activities associated with ensuring a
profitable operation.

Requirements include, but may not be limited to, some college and/or
equivalent work experience; ability to sell; computer literate; some
evenings and weekends required; willingness to work special events in
addition to scheduled time; ability and willingness to pass state and
local background checks necessary for the distribution of alcohol.

Compensation is a combination of hourly rate and performance plan.
Preference will be given to those with some wine experience, though it
is not necessary. The job is located in Schaumburg, IL, local
candidates need only apply.
